What is an Independent Broker, and why would you need one?
Hi, I’m Robin Quigg, a Licensed Independent Agent Specializing in Medicare Supplement, Prescription Drug & Advantage Plan Enrollments.
To ask Google:
"An insurance broker is a professional who acts as an intermediary between a consumer and an insurance company, helping the former find a policy that best suits their needs".

While seniors (and/or disabled persons who qualify) often enroll over-the-phone with the first insurance carrier that gets them on-the-line, when issues arise or questions need answering, that phone representative is long-gone, hence the need for a broker.
Navigating the nuances of government programs like Medicare, Medicaid & Social Security can be daunting, even for a trained professional. This is why I’m available to you FREE of Charge. I’m compensated by the carriers for assisting you with your enrollment. I’m ‘appointed’ by Aetna, BayCarePlus, CarePlus, Cigna, Florida Blue, Humana, Optimum, UnitedHealthcare, Wellcare & many more. Regardless of which you choose; they pay me, not you. My primary GOAL is not for a commission, but for a long- term partnership with you. Every year prescription drug coverage changes, affecting all my clients. My job is to research the changes to see if I can save money for my clients, as I often do. Annual reviews are highly advisable, so as your broker, every year we’ll do a free review.
I help you understand the difference in a MediGap -vs- Advantage plan, a D-SNP from a C-SNP, Prior Authorization processes, Network nuances, Rx Drug Tiers & the infamous ‘donut hole’, among other things, and Keep it as Simple as possible.
Knowledge of the on-going reforms to Social Security is of huge value to my clients in our Free Consultations. When it comes to saving or making money, ignorance is not bliss, and knowledge is power. Please let me put my knowledge to work for YOU.
